3. A Boy’s Name = Irving (Handsome and Fair), I remember this name from a comic book, I forget the title but It’s a dog name in it.
4. A Girl’s Name = Indira (it’s also the origin of my name, since she was killed not long before I was born. And because so many people use her name, my parents decided to switched ‘R’ and ‘I’ position)
5. An Occupation = Intelligence officer (So in love with Intelligence movies, Alias, La Femme Nikita, The Recruit, and must see movie Spy Game)

If you have Facebook account there’s high possibility you’ve been heard this before.
To make it simple you just write 25 random things about you so that people especially your friends could know you better and in return you have to choose 15 of your friends to do the same thing like you did. Looking at the bright side, these random things could make you know someone better than before (for someone who can write well and telling things about them selves). When ever you’re talking about bright side, there’s always had dark side. The dark side is I don’t know where to start. Or maybe I don’t know how to write this kind of essay TToTT oh no…

This probably the hardest thing I ever write about myself in blog or any other form and probably the biggest whole in one me things in one time. I will try it anyway and try to be honest in all of it..wakakaka.

Let’s start from introduction. My name is Indria Herman. When I was a child, let say probably when I’m in junior high school I really don’t like my name despite of the meaningless inside, it really hard to pronounce. Maybe not too significant, but hey, this is my name. Many people can’t pronounce “INDRIA” in right way. Most of them pronounce it “IN-DE-RI-YA”, it sound really similar but not the right one. It’s “INDRIA”. And if I told someone my name and then she/he write it down, many make mistake by writing “INDRIYA”…hello!!…it’s “INDRIA”. Not many people know this but I changed my name. Well, at least in my birth certificate. My name changed from “INDRIA” to “INDRIA HERMAN”… and you maybe laughing now!! (^^;) . It happened when I confirmed my right name for high school certificate. The other reason behind is you need two syllables name at least for passport. Or they’ll your name double in first name and family name.

I’m still a student, well a graduate student but still a student right? One of the reason I continue my study is I don’t want to be an unemployed person..(^^;)..it’s so hard to find a job nowadays, we’re on global recession. Another reason is….

I want to be a lecturer in major that I’m studying at my present university. I want to be the first female lecturer there. But, for applying that position, one must have at least a doctoral degree from prestigious university. Is there anything after that degree?? Oh there is, a post doctoral degree…Oh my God…!!!

Basically, I am a very shy person (hueks…)..I don’t have a lot of confidence inside me. That’s why I never have a courage to tell my opinion in study group or when I teach someone even I know the subject that I teach is one of my specialties.

I’m probably on of the most use MC in KCC and I think my performances were not too bad but there’s a condition on top of that. Don’t pair me with Valesca if you want a show run on time…kekekeke

Recently, I’m interested in education world, thanks to Kumon PKBM and my senior Dhitta Puti who introduce me with this world ever not explicitly. And this is another reason why I really want to be a good teacher.

I have a problem in pronunciation. My voice isn’t clear. You’ll hear me speak fast like grumbling. To get through with this problem, I practice clear pronunciation by “face aerobic”. It’s simple. Just open your mouth wide and say ‘A I U E O’ clearly. In no time your mouth area will get hurt.

I’m a card player. I can play almost all card games. It doesn’t have to be play with poker card. Any kind of cards are welcome for me. Like Domino and Go Stop. But, there’s one card game that I dislike, “LIAR GAME”.

Car is something that I’m avoiding to drive. My mom always tease me about this but I really don’t care anymore (^^;). Both of my brother and sister could drive even before they got their driver’s license. I remembered that my brother bang up the car and crushed my mother’s flower pot. And when I went to a mall with my sister, she parked the car FAR away from the entrance, and the only reason why she did it was she didn’t have to worry about other car beside our car because there wasn’t one.

When you want to ask me out to a mall make sure that the mall have a bookstore (at least). Yup, I’m not one of those shopping girls. I prefer spend my money in bookstore even I’m not a good reader and in love with stationary.

Entering my university it’s a very hard thing. Surviving inside isn’t an easy task either. Like a very hard level in game. Graduating from it needs a hard work. But you know the stupidest thing happen to me, I entered the same university again, in the same major with 2 years tuitions equal to my 10 semesters when I’m an under graduate….

Another thing that I like is sport. I’m into any kind of game sports. Like basketball, futsal, badminton, etc. Nowadays I play badminton every Friday with my friends and teacher from language club. I really want to try playing golf and hitting ball in strike zone. Don’t ask me for fitness because I get bored easily..kekeke

I learned shooting a gun from a police officer since I was senior in junior high. The feeling when you shoot is something that you never find in any kind of sport. An Asian Games athlete had trained me for tournament but I never get a change to compete due my busy schedule when I’m in high school. I want to try a game like I saw in Korean drama “Boys Before Flower” but I don’t know the name of the game. And the other this kind of sports is archery. I want to learn those two.

Korean is a language I’m learning. Most of my friends in Korean language club are fans of boy band or actor. While I, the person who have a really bad memory, always forgetting names. But somehow I want to try to be a fans of someone, a freak one…kekekeke

Since my early age I always be a crybaby. So, don’t be amaze if you see me crying while watching movie or reading a book. I cry a lot and cry easily.

In KCC, I never look stressed and always smile no matter what happen. Never got angry or even pissed. But in last year reunion I really pissed off and made ‘a scene’ that make most of reunion committee and staffs saw another side of me that make them think twice to pissed me off again in the future…wakakaka…hilarious, I always laugh when I remembered that time.

I don’t remember when was exactly I’m into history. Love this subject but never had a good grade. History of the world is very exciting. Sometimes learning history make you think twice before taking a decision and make you a wiser person because you’ll learned something from every side possible. Currently I’m searching for history of Indonesia…!!

Making a movie about the first Indonesian Thomas Team who won the Thomas Cup (their journey) has become an ambition for me…kekekekeke…(thanks to BRI ad @ last year Thomas Cup)

Piano is my trauma. After almost twelve years learning it with pressure from both of my parents I decided to leave it behind after I entered university (almost seven years ago). But after I saw Japanese drama ‘Nodame Cantabile’, my desire to play this instrument has came back. Piano isn’t available in my recent living space. Because of that piano carpet became one of must thing for me.

I never understand why man has always have to be better than woman. When I decided to continue my study, many people said to me, “it’s not good for your future husband”. I don’t know what exactly they are talking about. Even though they told me the reason but still it doesn’t make sense at all. Do woman always behind man?? Ah come on…What they have to think carefully is how to became a good paterfamilias.

I am a movie lover. I watched almost everything, Asian Drama, Western Series, Anime, Movies from all over the world (including India (for their dancing and singing), Korea, Japan, and China and Hongkong (for their unbelievable action movies)).

Another ambition of me : learning salsa dance. I like to dance, well say, move my body..kekekeke…beside, I also could lose some weight and increase my body flexibility…

I didn’t like vegetables until high school. Leaving my hometown to study alone in a city when I didn’t have any sibling and expensive medical treatment make me think twice about what I eat to maintain my condition. Now, if I don’t eat vegetables my mouth became sour and my body fells not fit.

It isn’t an easy task for me. It takes several hours to complete these 25 random things about me. Now the clock shows 3.13 AM. I better go to sleep now…

VS. 
If you are writing a journal or a diary everyday then you are someone who I envy ^^.
Recently my dorm mate told me that she’s a schedule book type. Because of that she has to write journal every day. Trust me it isn’t an easy task.
Schedule book type of person is a person who only writes important stuffs in her/his schedule book. A person who writes “appointments” and ” things to do” that day and give a mark after they complete something that had written in the book. I don’t exactly know what is wrong with that, after all those are the function of schedule book itself. The other effect of this attitude is the person can’t express her/his feeling well. She/he could be someone who is very realistic, someone who don’t want to involve in someone else problem or perhaps someone who buried her/his feeling deep down inside her/his heart.
Took a simple test to know are you a schedule book type of person if you’re not sure.
Grab a pen and paper, or open word in computer (read: green peace massage; less paper..^A^..kekeke)
The rules are simple;
1. Write or type every thing that’s cross your mind in every single question.
2. You only have 30 seconds to write the answers for every question.
3. Suggestion : “DON’T THINK JUST WRITE/TYPE”, after all you’re the only one who know what you’re writing.
That’s all, prepare for the questions.

Five simple questions with only 2,5 minutes….now the result.
If you can write 8 or more in each question, CONGRATULATION you don’t have to worry about this kind of stuff because you’re an open person. (^^)
If you only wrote 5-8, that you might be have to consider about writing a journal. Don’t have to be every day, make it a journal that can wrap your week feeling including the events that can make your mood change. Don’t be shy to share your opinion with other person. You have best friends who can understand you even without words to clue them.(^^)
Less than 5. YOU HAVE TO WRITE A JOURNAL IMMIDIATELY!!! Give some of your trust to other people. Even you always think that it’s ok to keep all the problems your self and try to figure it out alone, but in some kind of way that act can make you felling dull. You are a very straight and strict in several things and someone who’s great in something that only a few of people can do. It takes really hard work to make a journal but it can make your heart feel more sensitive in something and make it less burdened.

This is my first post after I decided to make new fresh start in this blog after postponed almost six months. Six moths?? Well, I don’t know exactly when was my last post…hehehehe
There’s something bothered me. And the common method to make it less or disappear such as talk to friends doesn’t suit me at all. Since I’m such a cry baby from the very beginning of my life, crying is the most common method for me. But today crying isn’t enough and that’s the reason I wrote this post.
It’s not a big thing…
It’s start last week. Me and my friends in language club want to play and at first we decided to go to DUFAN today ( December 30th) but there wasn’t enough people to join so the plan was change to January 1st, visiting Dutch and Japanese Caves in Bandung (while me still in Jakarta).Not long after that my KCC friends also have a new year’s event. I already asked my parents for permission and got it for both events.
My sister came back from Japan for three weeks and we decided to take a family picture while she was here. My brother’s friend is the photographer. First, my brother set up the date and time, he only gave us like 3 hours to prepare (which is very impossible thing to do considering there’s three women in the family). And the second time he set up the date was the time I lost one of my events. It take place the day after my event in Bandung and even I already set a schedule where I still can go to Bandung and get back to Jakarta in time my mother didn’t let me. She was worried I didn’t make it on-time. And because of that I decided not to go to my event in Bandung even I really din’t want to miss it.
The second time I lost my last and one and only event left was 4 hours ago. When I asked my father after dinner. Couple days ago, my father told me that my aunt from Padang invite us (my family) to have a dinner in her place in Jakarta. And because of that I already canceled my 7pm appointment but I still got permission to go to my event. But 4 hours ago he changed his mind and told me that I couldn’t go to there. He told me that he wanted us to spent new year’s eve together and scolded me that I never been in Jakarta in new year’s eve. I was in Jakarta last year and spend new year’s eve alone by myself (since both of my parent was slept). I told him that I was in Jakarta last year, and the result was me got my permission unavailable. (am I doing wrong?? I still want to come to his sister dinner party so why he told me that??)
Why am I so unlucky with these things?? It’s not the first time I experienced this. But it never happen with my brother and my sister. Why they always got me in this kind of thing.
